Elan Trotman :: a local Boston Jazz artist, originally from the island of Barbados and one of New England’s most talented jazz artists. Trotman is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music with a degree in Music Education.  Elan teaches music within the Boston Public School system and is a prominent member of the Boston and Providence music scene.

I met Elan Trotman and the Elan Trotman Band last weekend at Fan Pier in Boston.  Trotman and his band performed on Sunday April 25th at the main stage of Race Village, the hub of activity for the 2008-2009 Volvo Ocean Race North American port stop.
