Nikon 10.5mm Fisheye F/2.8 ED —Lens Review

The Nikon 10.5mm fisheye is one of Nikon’s widest angle lenses::first introduced in July 2003. A true fisheye, the 10.5mm has lots of distortion. The Nikon 10.5mm retails in stores for about $699::and can be found on the used market from between $600 and $700. The Nikon 10.5mm Fishey is a well made, solid Nikon lens. This lens is made for the Nikon DX format cameras providing the same full image results as you would find on a full frame FX sensor at 16mm. The lens is tiny, measuring just 14 cm from top to bottom and weighing in at about 11 ounces. The wide open F/2.8 aperature makes this lens ideal for low light and narrow depth of field shooting.
